Hi, I’m Amanda.
My wellness journey started at the age of 19 when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After countless times asking medical doctors, “is there anything I can do?” or “can I eat or avoid certain foods?” with no response, that I took things into my own hands. I was given less than a 10% chance to make it to a hopeful stem cell transplant, when I completely changed my diet and lifestyle. One month later I was in complete remission and have remained that way since!
This was just the beginning. Since then, I have also experienced thyroid and other hormonal imbalances. I continued to research and implement holistic approaches to healing. Throughout this time, I also continued my education and received both my Bachelors and Masters’ degrees in nursing. I have experience working in a conventional healthcare setting caring for individuals with a plethora of ailments for several years.
Finally, I discovered the Integrative Health Practitioner course, and knew it was the next step in my journey in helping others. I am a level 2 Integrative Health Practitioner and here to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
I was born and raised in the upper Midwest, and still reside here today. I am happily married and have three young children. My passion is in helping people, and I have been doing this since a very young age. I love all things holistic health and wellness (and homesteading and homemaking).
